👣 Why We Recreated Capernaum in VR
I’ve read the gospels my whole life, but when we built this 360 experience and I stood inside Peter’s house —everything changed. It was no longer just text on a page. I could see him in his home – conversing with disciples, eating at his table – he became a real person that lived like it did. Except, I’m a tall guy and I wondered if the roof were still on his house, I probably wouldn’t be able to stand up. 🙂
This is what I want for every Capernaum Tour visitor—especially kids, teens, and visual learners. That’s why we made the Capernaum Historical Tour VR. It’s not flashy. It’s not gamified. It’s simple, reverent, rooted in history, and built to bring the Bible to life and ground your beliefs in the reality that these people in scripture lived and breathed like you do.
